What are premium services? According to the cellphone carrier, premium services are service you pay for above and beyond your regular phone carrier charges. They are likely 4 digit numbers that come into your phone like 4452, and they will send notifications to your phone on a regular basis. Recently I was browsing my cellular bill, researching why I was paying an additional $15.00 a month in charges and found out the shocking reason why. I was being billed for a premium messaging service. Upon discovering this, I decided to look at all my bills and went all the way back to 6 months and found that same charge on all the bills. I quickly called my cellphone carrier and disputed the charges and asked why I was being billed a premium service charge? After a few minutes of looking over my bill, she answered that it was a third party company and that I had activated the service by visiting a site on my phone and entered my cellphone. I quickly stopped her and stated that she was incorrect and stated that I already have free messaging through the carrier and why would I want premium messaging? Well after a few minutes of going back and forth on the phone, she agreed to refund the charge for 6 months and put the premium service block on my account. So now I am safe from premium services hi-jacking my bill and charging me. Take a look at your bills and see if you have premium services on your bill and if you do, call your carrier and inquire about it. Another clue to your phone account being hi-jacked it if you are getting 4 or 5 digit numbers texting you garbage. So look out for the PREMIUN SERVICE hijacker.

1and1 Internet Hosting Company

I guess everyone has the opportunity to run their business in the manner they see fit as I was told on the phone when I talked to 1and1 customer support. This young lady educated me; not for their benefit as I am now writing this blog. Even asking to talk to the complaint department; I was told that I have to send an email to complaint@1and1.com and if they see fit call me back in regards to the matter. I guess 1and1 doesn’t feel customer satisfaction is important. I was hosting with 1and1 and found that I did not need that hosting account anymore; well I discovered something that TOTALLY surprised me. When you sign up with 1and1, you are bound by there so called electronic contract that states you are tied into the one year contract and cannot cancel it. I cancelled my account and found a letter from NCO Financial in my mailbox, thinking that they would have sent out the final billing details to me via snail mail. So I called NCO and I talked to a very rude girl. I responded to her that I would dispute it and she quickly hung up on me. I then called back and talked to a really nice gentleman who was glad to help me and was not too snappy on the phone and we were able to resolve the pass due. He even waived the processing fee for me. My conclusion to this post is, do not use 1and1 for your hosting, there are cheaper hosting companies out there that can give you a lot more for paying the whole year in advance or even monthly.

If you need to host an account, you can talk to me as I am a reseller for hosting and sad to say have removed myself from 1 and 1 internet.

Wanted to thank you for a great night last night at the Famous Kitty O’Sheas in Lake Buena Vista…. We packed the house to standing room only. Wow, I am so greatful for each and everyone of you and would like to thank you personally for stopping in and hanging out with us. Derek Gino Brashier MC/DJ at Deego Productions Originally from Plaistow New Hampshire, were he studied musical arts, Derek worked with local talent as a professional MC. Migrated to Orlando, Florida as a CP (College Program) Student at the Walt Disney world Resort, were he merged forces with Kitty O’Sheas in Lake Buena Vista and met the Crew of LBV. While on the college program, Derek was able to start the first ever in house party at Vista Way offering the students a safe and secure place to dance and have fun while joining forces with Big Dave, Mike, Harold and a few CP’s.
